Hello,
My name is Megan, I'm 29 years old, and I love children!

I'm a native English speaker from the USA and I've lived in Austria for 14 years, specifically 3 years in Vienna and 11 years in Strasshof an der Nordbahn. I'm a student at the University of Vienna studying to be a teacher. My subjects are English and biology.

I have a lot of experience working with children, as I've been teaching English to children ages 4 to 15 for 11 years. But sometimes we just play games—in English, of course. I also have 11 years of experience babysitting children ages 3 to 15. While babysitting, I've put the children to bed, played with them, and sang songs. I've also occasionally prepared meals for the children and helped clean up their toys.

I received my Matura (high school diploma) in 2018 from the Abendgymnasium Wien (Matura school), Brünnerstraße 72, 1210 Vienna. I took three written exams (German, mathematics, and English) and five oral exams (English, mathematics, psychology and philosophy, computer science, and physics).

I have been working as an English tutor since 2021 and have supported several children through their Matura exams. I teach children aged 10 to 18, and my lessons are held in German and English. I use both languages ​​because German helps children better understand English while learning, and some things are simply easier to explain in one or the other language.

I also like to incorporate English children's songs into my English lessons, simply because the children enjoy them, and I think it's a great way to learn a new language in a fun way.

I enjoy working with children and want to teach everyone something new. Working with children is more than just a hobby, it is actually my passion.
