About me

I have had pets since I was a child – mostly birds and fish, which were an important part of my everyday life for many years. Recently, I took care of my friend’s cat for a week. Since staying overnight was not possible, I visited during the day to look after her, which is also how I personally prefer it.

At the moment, I still live with my parents. While our apartment is spacious, it is not suitable for dogs, and my parents prefer not to have them in the home. However, once I move out, I would be open to expanding my availability – including overnight care if needed.

I truly enjoy looking after animals and would be happy to take on any responsibilities with great care and enthusiasm. I am mainly available in Vienna, as I don’t have a car, but I would also be open to caring for pets from other cities if they can be brought to me.

In addition to my love for animals, I am also professionally and academically engaged: I work 20 hours a week in a part-time job and study Japanese Studies at the University of Vienna.

I truly enjoy looking after the little ones and always look forward to spending time with them.

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

In general, I am open to caring for all types of animals – including exotic ones such as snakes or spiders. However, in such cases, I would prefer to care for them only on-site, as I would not be comfortable bringing them into my home.

At the moment, I have budgies (parakeets) at home who are allowed to fly freely within the apartment. If pet sitting at my place is requested, I would kindly ask in advance whether that would be acceptable. I could try to keep the animals in my room only, but it might be too small to accommodate them properly for longer periods.

When it comes to dogs, I prefer smaller breeds, as I am only 1.55 m tall and may struggle to manage larger dogs during walks. I am not able to care for aggressive animals, especially dogs, as I currently lack the experience and would not know how to handle such situations appropriately.

However, I have no issue with caring for female dogs in heat, as long as it involves daytime or evening visits and no overnight stay is required.

Meine Muttersprache ist Persisch, allerdings bin ich in Österreich aufgewachsen, weshalb auch Deutsch als meine Erstsprache gilt. Englisch habe ich bereits seit der Schulzeit gelernt und plane dieses Jahr eine C2-Niveau-Prüfung abzulegen. Derzeit lerne ich Japanisch an der Universität Wien und befinde mich aktuell auf dem Niveau N4. My native language is Persian, but I grew up in Austria, so German is also considered one of my first languages. I have been learning English since school and I am planning to take a C2-level English exam later this year. Currently, I am studying Japanese at the University of Vienna and I am at the N4 proficiency level.
